Week #22 Weigh-in + goals

I can't believe that I'm in week 22! When I started this journey I had a really hard time seeing myself here, having followed through with my plan for so many weeks. Sure, I've had setbacks and I've failed and eaten stupid things. But I never stopped, and that's what makes this time around different. And make no mistake, the deciding factor this time is you, my friends. The accountability I feel with this blog, your support and how I have to really reflect on things going on when I write and share.. it makes all the difference in the world - it really does!! Unfortunately I didn't lose any weight this week, but when I look at my exercise, food and water - I don't care. I've done great work, and my body will follow!

Starting weight: 123.2kg / 272lb
Previous weigh-in: 109.3kg / 240.9lb
Current weight: 109.3kg / 240.9lb

This week's loss: 0kg / 0lb
Total loss: 13.9kg / 31.1lb

Spring Chick Challenge goals:
- I will work out 4x times. YES!!! 7 workouts - killed it!
- I will drink 1.5L water each day YES!!!
- Not exceed 1600kcal. YES!!!

I told you I was going to come back this week with a lot of YES'es and I sure did! I am proud of myself, I feel like I gave it my all this week. I can really feel how spring is making a difference in my attitude and drive. I want to get out in the sun and burn burn burn!

  3. What a great attitude you have Maren! It is contagious and that is one of the reasons you are such an inspiration to me! You said it about not stopping. It took me 3 years to lose 80 pounds. If I had quit... anywhere along the way... where would I be today? That gives me an idea for a blog post!!! Perseverance is key to our success!!!

  5. You are changing your life and your behaviors - the most important things in my opinion. Sure we have to adjust our eating and we all are working on all these things that will make long-term success a reality for us. I agree that blogging is tremendous help. Just knowing we are not alone and that others face the same challenges that we do is priceless. Take care.

  20. Keeping going is really important, I agree. Don't let anything get you in the way or set up back. If you slip up just get back on the wagon and keep going.
