Many have contacted me, asking about my absence. I'm not sure I have any explanation, life happened and I lost my drive. I've been standing still though more or less, and there's something to be said for that. Without any real motivation, maintaining is a struggle too. I may have gained a few pounds over Christmas, but that should be it. I'm proud of myself for not letting go! Also, I have been exercising regularly, and that's pretty good. ;) If only I could say the same about my eating habits..
As this post's headline states - I need 2013! Lacking in any proper motivation, I find that as a new year approaches, it gives me a brand new fire. It's so full of promise, and I find myself wanting to start moving again. I'm ready, again!
So, my apologies for abandoning this blog and all of you. I don't even know who's still blogging and how you are doing. I sincerely hope to find that my old friends are doing well.
Oh, and I'm a brunette now! It's strange, because I've always feared my hair getting darker (I have my father's hair, and he turned from blond to dark around my age). I guess I am
really in want of some change. ;)

I think more of us need 2013 than you might think. I do! It just seems like a new year is a fresh start for some reason. I am going to finish up what I started and wade into maintenance. Should be fun! Welcome back.

So glad you're back! I too kind of stopped blogging for most of the fall, and saw that several of the blogs I follow also reduced how often they posted - sometimes it's motivation, sometimes it's life.
